This year, I spent two terms of Wednesday Expertise working on Google Science Fair. It is a global competition, which we choose a science concept and conduct experiments for it. I chose to work with a partner, Vattey to create biodegradable styrofoam because it is one of the big problem that cause pollution. The deadline of submitting this competition is midnight (westcoast time) on the 17th of May. I submitted it at about 5:30 pm, Cambodia time. Science Story Background
I was teamed up with my partner to create a book about densiy. (If you want to know about my science book click here). In order to write that story, we did a lot research. Our science teacher gave an assignment for us to write a short summarise of what the main idea of book is. Below is the paragraph of the summarise.
Science Story Book – Temperature Affects Density
One of the big projects at Liger for 2015 was creating science books. Everyone was put into pairs and chose a topic about science. My partner and I collaborate to create a book about density, which the book title is “Temperature Affects Density”.
There were a lot processes for creating this book. First, we needed to research about our topic. Next, we started writing the book in English and editing came after that. Then, we translating the book into Khmer. After the translation was finished, our Khmer learning facilitators edited it. Last but not least, we needed to work on the art and putting the writings into Bookwright.
